Cilantro

All parts of the plant are edible, but the fresh leaves and the dried seeds (coriander) are the most commonly used in cooking. Dried cilantro is not as pungent or flavorful as fresh cilantro. Technically, cilantro should be referred to as coriander leaf, though the coriander plant is most often referred to as the cilantro plant in the USA.

Origin: Isreal
